NMSU hosts Onsite Wastewater Treatment Program

New Mexico State University recently conducted training using the CIDWT O&M Program.

More than 16 pueblos and tribes in New Mexico have attended training over the past few years, allowing 75 tribal members to receive continuing education units (CEUs) toward their New Mexico operator’s license.

First CIDWT Installer Training Program Train-the-Trainer Academy Conducted in St. Louis, MO


The first Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT) Train-the-Trainer Academy introducing the new installer training materials was conducted on August 9-12, 2009.  Missouri SmallFlows Organization (MSO) served as the local host for the training event and worked with the St. Louis Plumbing Industry Council to secure the classroom.  This installer train-the-trainer event was conducted following the completion of the Installer Training Program project.

Farrell-Poe Honored

Dr. Kitt Farrell-Poe was honored by the CIDWT Executive Board for her service as CIDWT Chairwoman during the Board meeting conducted in February in St. Louis, Missouri. Current Chair John Buchanan thanked Kitt on behalf of the membership for a job well-done.



Kalen Receives award from University of Rhode Island College of Environmental and Life Sciences
